First of all, I want to commend this hotel's staff. Prior to my stay, I realized that Canopy AND Booking.com were advertizing the same room type and dates for my stay for over $100 less per night. Booking.com refused to honor their "price guarantee" -- stating that the terms have to be the EXACT same. Booking.com had a different cancellation policy for the same hotel and dates (I could cancel for free up until 11:59 PM the night before but lost that ability 3 days before my travel on my original reservation that I booked two months ago). This is how they get out of not honoring their price guarantee. I contacted the hotel directly and the front desk manager said she would approve a cancelation and I could rebook at the lower price. Now THAT is how you do customer service. So, just know that you may be penalized for booking in advance with Booking.com. Also, I wasn't elibigle for hotel points because I booked on this site. About the hotel. It's lovely and reminds me of the Hewing but with better rooms IMO. Modern and classy. The lobby area was comfortable and posh. We had a glass of wine at the bar before heading out to our event. Our only complaint is that they shut everything down at 10. So, when we returned at 11, it was lights out. Would be nice to have a hotel bar open a little later. The room was lofted and really cool. Nespresso in the room and very spacious, with a great view of the city. The bed was comfortable. My only issue is that the bedding and pillows were down. It was one of those "falling asleep when my head hit the pillow" kind of nights. I woke up a few hours later and was completely stuffed up. Then started sneezing. I looked for another blanket and pillows and there weren't any. So, I didn't sleep well. I had to put a towel over the pillow but I tossed and turned. So, I would just suggest offering alternatives. There was a strong perfume scent in the room as well.

The location was awesome! Went to a concert at the armory. We were only a few blocks away. The hotel staff was so friendly. The place was clean. The lofted ceiling rooms on the 6th floor were very Rad! Usually not into the old hotel thing bit this was very retro shiek. The ice machine was on our floor, score! And best of all, after sloshed from Bring Me The Horizon played, we ordered a pizza from Pizza Luce's. 🍕 Pizza was delivered for free, no door dash straight from the restaurant within 15 minutes or so. Super fast. Bruchetta was amazing. Try the potatoe pizza 🍕 😋 amazing! Overall, the telly gets a 12 out of 10! Will be back and we usually only stay in thousand dollar rooms. No need here. Different and different experience. Oh and we looked out our window at US Bank Stadium 🏟 score again.

Very nice and cozy hotel inside. The architecture and decor are top notch. Comfortable, beautiful and very cozy room, quiet, with a large safe and good Wi-Fi. The shower door closes and makes it impossible to wet the bathroom floor. The shelf where the coffee and tea kit is, and the minibar, is very beautiful, with a complete kit, with good options. At the reception, a bar with high quality music, at a volume and time suitable for a hotel. Basic gym OK. Attentive and efficient staff. Excellent lodging option in Minneapolis. If I could give a score greater than 10, I would.

The Canopy Hilton is a beautifully designed hotel with art works, pottery, furniture, sculpture, and mobiles to admire. Staff was very friendly. There were two bikes we were able to use to pedal along the Mississippi. The breakfasts were very good. Live music was performed over the weekend. The location in the Mill District was excellent with a good number of restaurants nearby especially Thai, Japanese and Korean. The Mill House Museum, walking distance, was a very interesting experience and the impressive Guthrie Theater is in that district too.

Everywhere we wanted to go was very close to the Hotel. My sons and I liked the fact that it was walking distance to US BANK STADIUM with no worry of finding a parking spot to attend a Vikings Game. Also when we arrived in Minneapolis the Hotel was very easy to find.
